movie time

We always hear someone says, ''world peace''.
Before today I'm the one who also believes world peace.
However, I've changed my mind.
I am wondering if the world is really peaceful.
Is everyone lives safely and happily in the world?
This afternoon I watched a movie called Hotel Rwanda, which is an adaptation of a true story about racial massacre.
It happened in the eastern Africa.
The Hutu killed the Tutsi, from children to old people.
There wasn't any country willing to rescue the refugees.
The manager of the hotel rescued more than a thousand people by himself.
I felt upset after I watched the movie.
I believe that there must be the same situation somewhere in the world.
The world is not as peaceful as we thought.
What can I do to help this world?
What can I do to help those people?
I am wondering…

make choices

''To be or not to be, that is the question.''
We people make choices every day, and so do I.
To attend the class? Not to attend the class?
To study? Not to study?
To see a baseball game? Not to see a baseball game?
Today, I've made my mind.
To give more time for myself to do what I ''should'' or ''have'' to do.
What I have to do: budget for next semester, David Copperfield, mythology and report''s''.
My main purpose in PU is to learn more and enhance my abilities, isn't it?
So, accept my choices, face my choices, deal with my choices well, Ellsie !

I want to scream!!!!!!!!

cause my internet was brokenˋˊ

But my roommates' are still working.

Why does my internet break?

I've filled the form to fix my internet since Tuesday, but today is Thursday...

How come no body comes to help me????

By the way, I have no idea about the assgnment( blog and wiki)...

I found that my ability of composition is getting worse and worse...

Blog and Wiki

Nowadays, almost everyone has a blog. So do I. I can write everything I want to say or share my life and experiences to everyone, even though I don't know them. After read my articles, readers can give me responses or advices. I can even make friends through these articles. Another writing space on the internet which is called ''wikispace'', has the same function. I also can write articles on it. However, I don't like to use it because people cannot leave responses about my articles. That is the weakness.

The song'' Let It Be'' written by John Lennon and Paul McCartney was a story about a man who broke up with his lover. When he felt down, he heard Mother Mary whispered to him, ''let it be.'' After hearing this, he felt better. He knew that the way to smooth the sorrow was let it be.


When I first time heard this song, I was attracted by its melody. The melody was soft. Everytime when I am upset, I always listen to the song. It smooths my bad feelings. Moreover, the lyric is also very good. It's very simple but the mealing is very deep. Not every thing is always like what we like. There must be up and down in our life. Whenever you are in trouble, just ''let it be''.

New Year's Resolutions

Happy New Year everyone!

With the coming of the new year, do you have any New Year's resolution? Well, I do.
In 2008, I hope I can improve my oral ability.

Being a English major, it is necessary to speak English fluently. However, I am not able to do so. Something I feel frustrated when I am not able to use English to express myself. I always wonder, why? why can't I? Maybe I need time and more efforts to achieve my goal.

I know there are a lot of things I have to learn, not only oral ability,but composition and so on. In this year, I will push myself to finished my New Year's resolution.
